The issue might occur to the Local Auditor or hinder the latter from carrying out the directions of the Crown.
I boldly add that differences of opinion between the Director (DAG) & the Auditor, though happily rare, occur also in Colonies in which the accounts are not audited by the Colonial Office (Col. G.). In such cases, the matter is brought to the notice of the Secretary of State.
